It’s been in the news a lot — sleep is good for weight loss. Now there is more proof. A recent study conducted by the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota shows just how close the connection is between sleep and self-control really is. Researchers found that shrinking the slumber  by only 80 minutes leads people to take in average of 549 calories more per day.

Sleep needs are different for different people and the best way to know your need is to sleep at a normal time and go without the alarm clock for a few days. You will understand how much sleep your body requires for proper functioning.
